A view of Tower Point at the edge of Loch Gair in Scotland with a figure resting in the foreground. Signed and dated to the lower-right edge. The location is inscribed in graphite to the lower-left edge as well as on the reverse. On watercolour paper laid to board.Condition
There is some foxing and discolouration, primarily around the edges.

Collection Information
James Heron was a Scottish artist who lived in Edinburgh, and painted many Fife scenes, harbours, farmyard scenes and landscapes around Scotland. Heron exhibited at the Glasgow Institute and the Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture, known as the RSA.
