Early 20th Century Watercolour - Pont du Gard
DescriptionA charming watercolour painting, depicting a landscape view of the famous Pont du Gard, an ancient Roman aqueduct bridge built in the first century AD. Signed indistinctly to the lower left-hand corner. Well-presented in a double card mount and in a wooden frame, as shown. On watercolour paper.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and very light foxing. Some marks to the mount and small scuffs to the frame.
