Five pages with graphite drawings. Two measure (19.5 x 28.5 cm) and depict livestock in landscapes. A smaller work (18 x 23 cm) on wove paper depicts a path in a landscape. And the two smaller pages measure (12.5 x 24 cm). Unsigned. On wove.

Condition

There is some foxing to the smaller page, the other two are in fine condition.

Provenance: studio sale of James Frank Adams. As with any studio sale, there is a wide variation in the works, ranging from preliminary sketches to polished and framed works of art. Oils, watercolours, and graphite drawings. Some of the works show real quality and others we feel are less successful.
