The decorated border includes a floral running pattern and acanthus leaf fluting. Inscribed to the lower edge 'In the Collection of the Right Honorable Sir Robert Walpole.'. Handsomely presented in a Hogarth frame, with gilt mouldings and black lacquered shaped cove, as shown. Unsigned dated and inscribed. On laid.
