A charming study of a waterfall in Ingleton, Yorkshire by artists J. Small. The waterfall fills the centre of the painting, with rocks and trees softly bordering either side of the fast flowing water. Signed to the lower right. Inscribed to the reverse with the location and artists signature. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and craquelure. There is a border mark to the surface of the painting, possibly caused by a previous frame.
