A fine and atmospheric seascape by the artist J. Cot, depicting boats at sea, in windy and choppy waters. The artist has completed the work in a style reminiscent of 19th Century maritime art, with a layered approach to light and form. Well-presented in a lacquered white slip and gold effect frame, as shown. Signed. On board.

Condition

In good condition overall, with some even surface discolouration. Minor surface marks to the frame.
