A beautiful late 19th century Florentine frame in circular form. The pierced sections have been exquisitely moulded in a scrolling acanthus and foliate design with areas of high relief and bead course to the inner window. The frame currently contains a decorative Botticelli print of the Magnificat Madonna.

There are some minor breakages and losses to the carved elements. These losses can be seen to the lower half of the frame. There are two glued sections to the leaf decoration on the lower right. The frame is in a stable condition with no signs of woodworm damage.
