An accomplished still life of anemones in a bowl, painted in watercolours by Isabel Wrightson. Well- presented in a gilt-effect frame with wash-line mount. Affixed to the reverse of the frame is a signed artist label. On paper.Condition
Some debris caught between the glazing and mount. The overall condition of the watercolour is very good.

Artist Biography
Isabel Wrightson was a painter born in Croydon. She studied at Byam Shaw School of Art and also at the Stanhope Forbes School of Painting in Newlyn in 1935. She taught at Croydon High School for Girls for over forty years. Wrightson exhibited at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Oil Painters and RI. Her death was recorded at Worthing, Sussex.
