Born on August 16, 1936, in the village Olişcani, Orhei, Ion Daghi and was educated at the School of Fine Arts (1952-1960) in Chisinau and the Academy of Arts and Design in Kharkiv, Ukraine (1962-1967) . Since 1980 is member of the Union of Artists of Moldova since 1990 - PhD in pedagogy and lecturer. Ion Daghi participated in numerous exhibitions, symposia and national and international conferences. He exhibited work in various wards of Moldova, Romania, France, Russia and other countries. Also made several monumental works in various institutions in new abroad. By Eminescu plastic has become known throughout the world and his book "front decorative composition" published in 2010, is considered the best contemporary fine art manually RM. In 1990 conducted a series of mural painting compositions for biosphere Hall Museum of Ethnography and Natural History in the capital of Moldova. Ion Daghi managed to manifest in several areas, being at the same time, a professor at the Technical University of Moldova and State University "Ion Creanga". As an educator and scientist, was a leader for many doctoral theses. According to Professor Isidore Doctoreanu at present, according to the opinions of leading international experts, we can say that the RM, the distinguished artist John Daghi managed to establish itself among the personalities who could fully manifest the same extent, in several different directions in content and produce value as precious all at Romanian national culture.
