Inge Clayton FRSA (1942-2010) - 1994 Watercolour Seated Model
Description
A contemporary watercolour with graphite detail completed in pastel tones by Austrian/British artist Inge Clayton. This is a fantastic example of Clayton's expressive and loose drawing style. The familiar subject of the female form and sexuality has been delicately composed, with washes of colour and simplistic shapes. A graphite pencil has been used on top of the wet paint to create an interesting, colourful outline. Painted on wove, then cut and pasted onto card. Signed.Condition
