A decorative, vibrant depiction of the deity Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi painted onto cotton. They stand in a garden of flowers with mountains in the distance. Embellished with gold paint to highlight their clothing and the border of the piece. Unsigned. On cotton .

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The cotton is unevenly placed inside the frame, with some frays to the edges. Some surface dirt.
