A wonderful study of figures at the beach, some of which are relaxing in the sun while others shelter beneath a large umbrella. The simplified forms work well with the small size of the painting and create a contemporary feel within the composition. Well presented in a vintage effect frame with gilt detail and sgraffito decoration. Monogrammed. On board.Condition
Overall the condition is good. There are minor marks to the substrate and some signs of surface dirt. Scuffs to the frame.
