Evert Moll (1878-1955), Rotterdam harbour, oil on canvas. Presented in gilt effect frame with painted cove and running pattern. Signed lower left.Condition
Signs of wear consistent with age. Evidence of surface craquelure and some overpainting. Minor scattering of dark marks in areas of the composition. Light wear to the edges of the frame. The overall condition of the artwork is very good.

Artist Biography
Born in Voorburg, Evert Moll (1878-1955) lived and worked there until 1930, and also in London (1899-1905), Paris, Rotterdam and The Hague where he died. He was an autodidact, in contact with Willem Maris (1844-1910), and a member of the Pulchri Studio. Besides being a painter, he also worked as an art dealer.
