A wonderful mid-century watercolour depicting the magnificent bell & clock tower of Saint Martin's with the exterior of Saint-Martin's church visible in the distance. Well presented in a beautiful rosewood frame. Signed to the lower right and dated 1954. Fixed to the reverse of the frame is a picture of the tower as it stood in 1954. On watercolour paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the watercolour and fine scratches in the rosewood frame.
