A delightful still life study of a fruit dish and decanter, the artist has used a variety of colours to create a contrast between the fruit and its surroundings and has used flecks of white paint to give the impression of glass and its reflection. Well presented in a gilt effect fluted frame. Signed and dated to the reverse.
On canvas on stretchers.The work itself is in good condition with some minor surface dirt, the frame is also in good condition but does have some minor scuffs to the edges.
