The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the varnish layer and light dirtying to the surface. Inspection under UV light reveals areas of restoration and overpainting. Two small canvas tears have been fully repaired to the reverse. There is light abrasion to the perimeter of the canvas as well as small marks and scuffs.
