Condition

The plate is well worn. The example pressing has losses to the edges and some surface abrasions.

Artist Biography

Henry Martin Pope was a British visual artist who was born in 1834. Many works by the artist have been sold at auction, including 'A traveller before a ruined castle' sold at Christie's South Kensington 'The Lyndon Goodwin Harris Collection of Watercolours by Albert Goodwin, Joseph Edward Southall & Other Artists' in 2007. The artist died in 1908.
