Henry Marriott Paget (1857-1936) was a painter and illustrator and brother to Sidney and Walter Stanley Paget. Born in Clerkenwell, Middlesex (now London), he studied at the Royal Academy Schools in London from 187I and drew for the Illustrated London News, Quiver, Windsor Magazine, Sphere and The Graphic and exhibited at RA and RBA of which he was an elected member. Paget also showed at the Fine Art Society, Grosvenor Gallery and Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and at Manchester City Art Gallery. He was elected a member of the Art Workers' Guild in 1886 and was allegedly a member of the Artists' Rifles. Portraits by Henry Paget include W. B. Yeats at the Ulster Museum, Belfast. Paget travelled extensively and lived for a period in the Ottoman Empire (now Turkey). He was commissioned by the Sphere to cover the Balkan War in 1912-13. He died in Hampstead, London, on 27 March 1936.
