A fine and interesting composition with figures, by the artist Henry E. Foster (1921-2010), depicting four people walking in a street. Inscribed to the reverse with the title 'A Foursome, Coming from the Baths, Redditch', the artist uses careful form and a balance between realist and impressionistic detail. Well-presented in a dark wood frame with gilt detail, and signed and dated '69 to the lower right corner. Signed and dated. On board.

Condition

In fine condition overall. There is some minor even surface discolouration. The frame is in very good condition.
