A well executed and unusual still life of seashells in pen and ink, coloured washes and graphite. The still life offers an interesting foreground to the coastal scene with a wheeling gull and boat in the distance behind. The artist has initialed to the lower right hand corner.
The drawing has been well presented in a glazed, brushed silver frame with a grey mount and pink inner window.
On wove.The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a small amount of light burn to the upper edge. The frame is in fine condition.
