With pen and ink and acrylic details. Signed to the lower right-hand corner. There is a label on the reverse inscribed with the artist's name and title. Well-presented in a cream card mount and in a contemporary, ornate, gilt-effect frame, as shown. On watercolour paper.

Condition

In fine condition overall, with very minor marks to the mount and small scuffs to the frame.

Collection Information

Prolific in both her local area and beyond, the Welsh artist Gwyneth Willitt is a member of the Conwy Valley Art Society and devotes most of her time to working in oils and watercolours. Covering a wide array of subjects including prominent Welsh landmarks, still life, and the British coastline, as well as Scottish and Canadian landscapes, Willitt has a characterful approach to form and palette.

Her vibrant style includes both realist and more impressionistic works. While many are signed, all are by the artist's hand.
