Glynn Boyd Harte - Limited Edition Original Contemporary Lithograph. Monogrammed in the lower right corner and with the edition number (317/500) in the lower left. In original Merivale Editions protective folder. 'The Alphabet Mug' is a 4 colour lithograph drawn on zinc plates at the Curwen Studio. It has been printed in an edition of 500 copies on 230 gsm Hollingworth All Rag paper at the Curwen Press. Signed with monogram. In near pristine condition.

Glynn Boyd Harte was born in Lancashire in 1948. Since leaving the Royal College of Art in 1973 he travelled extensively. Many of his drawings and lithographs reflect his stays in Paris, New York, Venice, St Petersburg and Los Angeles, as well as more domestic scene drawn from his north London home. Glynn has illustrated five books including 'Metroland' with verse by Sir John Betjeman and 'Temples of Power' with text by Gavin Stamp. He has held four one man exhibitions in London, most recently at the Francis Kyle Gallery. His lithographic work was featured in the BBC television series 'Artists in Print'. Boyd Harte passed away in 2003.
