Gilt Framed Original 19th Century Oil. A 19th century oil of a choppy coastal scene with shipping, figures o on the shore, and a lighthouse in the distance. With a Greenock framers label verso. Presented in a decorative gilt frame with gilt slip. Unsigned. On canvas on stretchers. Small area of paint loss to area around ship sails. Otherwise in good condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Minor cracking to moulding on frame.
