Artist Biography

George William Collins was born in 1863 and died in 1949. He was a talented English landscape painter whose artworks have been sold by auction houses across the UK including Bonhams and Sotheby’s.

Sulis Fine Art are pleased to introduce the George William Collins Collection which features a rich selection of ninety watercolours and pastel drawings.

Taken from a set of sketchbooks signed by the artist, the collection includes landscapes of the South East of England. This includes idyllic rural depictions of Kent, Surrey, Sussex and more. It also features a number of portraits through which the artist captures youthful beauty in young children and babies.
