Artist Biography

George Chandler Walter (1866-1928) was an American etcher who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He studied at the Julien Academy of Art in Paris. His works are featured in collections at the Victoria and Albert Museum, The Smithsonian Museum of Art, The MET, and The Library of Congress, Washington DC.
