Description

Fourteen finely detailed and coloured lithographic maps of various areas in the British Isles. These have been taken from Bacon's New Large Scale Atlas of the British Isles 1881, and include areas of Wales, England, Ireland and Scotland. Each page measures 51.3 x 34.4cm. Unsigned and inscribed. On wove.

Condition

In good condition overall. Some small tears to the creases in the maps. As these are from a large atlas, each map has a centerfold. Light discolouration and some minor foxing.
