George Henry Jenkins (1843-1914) - Watercolour, River View with Boat

A delicate and captivating watercolour painting with body colour details by the well-listed artist George Henry Jenkins. The scene depicts a river view with two figures in a small boat. The fine brushstrokes and well-balanced composition highlight the artist's clear proficiency in the subject and medium. Well-presented in a washline card mount and in a simple wooden frame. Signed. On watercolour paper.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including discolouration and some foxing, mainly to the sky area. Some surface marks to the mount. Minor scuffs to the frame.
