George Cruikshank - Original 19th Century Engraving. 39 separate engravings. All but two are signed in the plate by George Cruikshank; the other two are engraved by Tony Johannot. Trimmed to the plate and individually laid down on backing paper. Dated variously from 1839 to 1847. Scenes include 'The Dismissal of Cardinal Wolsey', 'The Vision of the Fair Geraldine', 'The Search for Herne the Hunter' and 'Henry's Reconciliation with Anne Boleyn'. Unsigned. Most of the prints have scattered foxing, some more extensive than others.Size
