Artist Biography
George Barker (1858-1911) was a painter born in Wolverhampton. He is recorded as having shown at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, the Royal Society of British Artists, and the Royal Hibernian Academy. According to censuses of the period, he worked as a sub-postmaster and as a landscape artist in Birmingham.
