This artist's work is similar to that of Garmon Morris in dimensions, theme and method and it has been suggested by various auction houses that they might well be one and the same artist. His watercolours tend to be small defined fishing boat studies often tall and thin in shape. The subjects included West Country views such as St.Michael's Mount and were often signed 'Avondale'.
