Framed Late 19th Century Watercolour - Wreckage at Low Tide

Description

A fine late 19th century watercolour depicting a piece of wreckage on golden sands at low tide. Further along the shoreline the artist captures several figures with a horse and cart. The watercolour has been signed by the artist to the lower left. Well-presented inn a heavy wood frame with a wide giltwood mount.
On watercolour paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. The wood frame shows signs of wear with scuffs and scratches on all rails. The frame has an imperfection in its glazing to the left-hand side.
