A couple and their young child walk along a wooded path in this charming scene by German artist Fritz Von Heider (1868–1933). Heider employs an Impressionistic style with subtle impasto that provides the piece with texture and depth. The work is signed to the lower left, and is well presented in a swept gilt frame with rich corner ornamentation. On canvas on stretchers.
