Frederick Cameron-Street - Original 1987 Watercolour. On watercolour paper. Signed lower right, titled lower left. Dated and inscribed on the reverse. Signed. In fine condition.Earlier in life Frederick Cameron-Street trained to become a Surveyor and then obtained a teaching diploma, spending many years as a lecturer before returning to industry. In 1983 he returned to teaching but now in the field of Art for the North Wiltshire Adult Education Department and followed on with his own private classes both at his studio and at residential courses at Phillips House and Fittleworth, Sussex. Other than painting for exhibitions and galleries he regularly demonstrates to Art Societies throughout England and also at the National Materials Exhibitions in London, (A.I.M. Islington) and at Art in Action, Oxford. Frederick Cameron-Street's striking watercolours and pastels are diverse in their subjects covering landscapes, wildlife and flower painting. He is regularly represented at exhibitions, including The Royal West of England Academy, Bristol and The Llewellyn Alexander Gallery, London etc. His largest watercolour painting depicting gun emplacements beneath Mount Kent, Falklands hangs in the Royal Military Academy of Science, Shrivenham. Frederick Cameron-Street is a keen miniaturist and has recently contributed to a new book on Miniature Painting. He has also recently produced live Videos on Pastel Painting. He belongs to the following Societies:Hilliard Miniature Society, Guild of Wiltshire Artists, The Fosseway Artists, South Wales Art Society and The Wild Arts Society.
