Description

A delightful still life study depicting a bunch of red grapes and other fruits in a natural setting. The artist seems to have been inspired by the work of William Hough (1819-1897) who was renowned for his still life studies of fruit on natural terrains and forest floors. Signed and dated to the lower right. Well presented in a gilt frame with foliate ornamentation to the corners. On paper.

Condition

The painting is in fine condition. There are some small losses to the frame.
