The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The original plate lines are intact. The frame is in fine condition.

Artist Biography
Frank Harding was a British artist who excelled in the production of maritime etchings and drypoints. the is listed as exhibiting in London during 1885 and 1890. the had a penchant for illustrating commercial fishing fleets, mainly in Devon and Cornwall and the south-west coast of England. Always confused by several later artists who shared his name but were unrelated. His work is distinguished by its economical use of etching highlighted by crisp, drypoint highlights.
