This accomplished oil by Frank Clarke depicts a breathtaking highland view with a quaint stone bridge crossing. The artist paints a female figure to the foreground, collecting firewood with her loyal sheep dog. The oil has been signed by the artist to the lower left. Condition
There is some craquelure to the surface of the painting an a small flake of painting missing to the upper right quadrant. Inspection under UV light reveals no signs of restoration and the picture frame is in very good condition.
