Artist Biography
Frank B. Jowett (1879-1943) was a painter and etcher who was largely self-taught and for most of his adult life worked in industry as the Managing Director of the Carrington Shoe Company. He was also Chairman of the Rotary International Art Group and Chairman of the Kettering and District Art Society. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists, the RSW and RI. His work is in the collection of the Alfred East Art Gallery, Kettering.
