Artist Biography
Painter, born in London, the son of Royal Academician William Bowyer. He studied at St. Martin's School of Art and continued to study etching and painting at Chelsea School of Art. He is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society and was the featured artist in the 1991 RSW exhibition. He exhibits widely in Britain and has work in private collections abroad. He has taught drawing and painting at the Royal Academy Schools and was elected an associate to the Royal Watercolour Society in 1986, became a full member in 1991 and is now President of the Society. He was elected to the New English Art Club in 1992. His work is in the RWS Diploma Collection, The Arts Club, Dover Street, London, Arthur Anderson & Co., National Grid plc, London Federation of Clubs for Young People And I the collection of HRH The Prince of Wales Collection.
