A charming interior scene. Natural light streams through the window, an umbrella leans against a chair beside a stove, and boots sit next to a large basket, where canvases are stacked against the wall. Books and papers lie scattered across the desk, whilst coats and hats hang from pegs beside the door. The work is indistinctly signed to the lower right and is well presented in a black frame with a gilt slip. On canvas on stretchers.
Condition
Overall the condition is very good. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Scuffs and scratches to the frame.
