Artist Biography
John Linfield is a painter who was born in Carshalton Beeches, Surrey. He studied at Wimbledon School of Art and Royal College of Art. In 1982 he was elected NEAC, also showing at RA, RP and elsewhere. He had solo shows at Trafford Gallery in the early 1960s, later exhibitions taking place with Halifax House in Oxford and John Noott Twentieth Century, in Broadway. Winsor & Newton Ltd and Spink & Son Ltd were among the commissioners of his work. Lived in Wells, Somerset.
