The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration caused by a fine layer of dirt on the canvas. There is some craquelure to the paint down the right hand side and abrasion marks noticeable where the picture meets the frame. The wooden frame is in a good condition with general wear and age. There is a tear in the dust seal to the reverse of the frame and a small chip in the board along the lower front edge.
