A fine early 20th century watercolour depicting a Victorian mail coach with paying passengers waiting while the horses are changed over for the next leg of the journey. This colourful Victorian scene is well presented in a beautiful 19th century frame, with a ripple moulded edge and gilt inner window. Mounted under glass. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and mild foxing. There are some signs of wear and tear to the frame to included small moulding losses and fading to the gilt ripple border around the outer edge.
