Description
A fine early 19th century watercolour in monochrome, showing a seated squire turning his hand to an egger acquaintance. The miniature scene has been well-presented in an ornate gilt-effect frame with carved edges and delicate floral ornamentation. Unsigned. On paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the watercolour. The gilt-effect frame has a small moulding loss to the lower right corner. The rest of the frame is in a very good condition with good patina.
