A charming watercolour study of a lakeside with boats on the water and mountain range behind. To the left of the view, three figures can be seen conversing in the foreground, along a winding road to a hidden manor in the trees. Unsigned. The watercolour has been well-presented in a simple gilt-effect frame with a new card mount. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. there is a scattering of light brown spots across the surface of the watercolour. The picture frame is in a used condition with light scuffs and scrapes on most members.
