This stunning watercolour by Arthur Spooner (1873-1962), depicts a perspective view down a sunny village street with pretty thatched cottages on the right-hand side. The artwork has been signed to the lower left and again to the reverse. Beautifully presented in a wash-line mount and gilt-effect frame. Also fixed to the reverse is a label of biographic information about the artist. On paper.Condition

Artist Biography
Arthur Spooner was a British impressionist painter from Nottingham, England. Spooner was born in Nottingham and trained at the Nottingham School of Art (now part of Nottingham Trent University). He later taught landscape and figurative painting there.
