This fine Victorian portrait depicts a rosy cheeked and red lipped girl, sat wearing a black buttoned down frock with delicate lace collar. The artist has managed to capture the sitter's elegant rag curls, shimmering on either side of her perfect porcelain complexion. Unsigned. Well presented in a crisp oval mount and complimenting gilt frame, with elegant bead and reel running pattern. On paper.
Condition
There are some small losses to the frame. However, the pastel is in fine condition.
