At atmospheric landscape depicting a river landscape with bridge and two figures. Painted on thick canvas laid down on card. Well presented in a gilt effect frame with beading detail. A very faint signature is visible under UV light to the lower right corner. We have been unable to identify the writing.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and craquelure. The frame has suffered some losses, noticeably to the inner section - minor damage to the corners (all as visible in images).
