Engraved from an Original Painting by Mr. Wootton by John Jones (c.1755-1797). Inscription to the lower edge reads "Publish'd as the Act directs 4 June, & sold by the Proprietor J. Tattersalls, London. at the Coffee Room, Newmarket: Also at all the Principal Towns in England.___ See the Seven Companion Prints in Racing Calendar Book 1791, last Page". Well presented in a solid wood frame with gilt detail. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The plate has been trimmed very close to the plate line. There are areas of foxing and creasing to the paper. Closed tear to the centre-left. Minor marks and scuffs to the frame with losses to the gilt moulding.
