Description

A 16th century engraving of the goddess Ceres inscribed in plate 'Antonta tempest inuemst et incidit'. Presented in a gilt effect frame and green card mount. On laid paper fixed to backing paper.

Condition

The engraving has been heavily cropped within the plate lines. The paper is lightly discoloured with signs of foxing.
