Sold for restoration. A landscape depicting boats and windmills at Horsey Mere, one of the Norfolk Broads. Location inscribed 'Horsey Meer' (sic) and dated to the lower-right edge. Artist's label to the reverse. Pen and ink sketches to the reverse, titled 'Sydney Harbour from Watsons Bay'. On canvas laid to card.

Condition

There is some extensive dirt and craquelure. Convex distortion of the card. Some small paint losses around the edges. Pinholes to the centre and top corner of the left edge.
